Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Overview We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to operate imaging devices, computers, ECG units, laboratory equipment, dose calibrators, and radiation survey instruments. Responsibilities Performing scintigraphic scans as prescribed by physicians. Manipulating images, conducting quantitative studies, and archiving patient data. Preparing and storing radioactive and non-radioactive materials, ensuring proper doses for patients. Conducting quality control and maintenance on imaging equipment. Consulting with physicians, demonstrating images, and providing quality data for interpretation. Administering radiopharmaceuticals under physician supervision. Providing patient education, assessment, and care, while demonstrating sensitivity to their needs. Qualifications Associate’s Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology. Certification as a CNMT or ARRT in Nuclear Medicine Technology. Licensed as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Current BLS certification. Extensive knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures, handling radioactive materials, and instrumentation. Skills And Attributes Proficiency in nuclear medicine practices and equipment. Strong communication and patient care skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fully-equipped department. This role is essential for supporting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in a caring, learning-oriented environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
