Therapist - Speech Language Pathologist

$2094.40/week –

Job Summary:
Provides specialized assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with communication, speech, language, cognitive, or swallowing disorders. Develops and implements individualized care plans to improve patient outcomes while adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients communication, cognitive, and swallowing functions using standardized assessments.

• Develop and implement evidence-based therapy plans tailored to each patients needs.

• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary.

• Collaborate with healthcare team members, patients, families, and caregivers to support treatment goals.

• Provide consultation, counseling, and education related to speech and language disorders.

• Complete comprehensive discharge summaries and maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid CCC-SLP certification and Missouri state licensure.

• Possess at least 1 year of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist; new graduates with Level II experience are acceptable.

• Demonstrate proficiency with standardized assessment tools and evidence-based practices.

• Ability to supervise and support CFY or student SLPs.

• Adhere to ASHA and state practice standards, ethics, and code of conduct.
