Clinic Patient Representative - Primary Family Medicine

Summary Serves as the initial point of contact for patients and visitors, welcoming them to the Family Health Center. Supports the center’s operation by setting up appointments, maintaining the cash drawer, posting charges, and assuring the accuracy of patient demographics using the hospital’s computer system. Responsibilities Monitor the debit and credit of client accounts Perform posting operations to institutional clients, and review all billing transactions related to accounts receivable system Resolve client inquiries and complaints on institutional billing transactions Perform order entry, registration, and other clerical duties Train all clerical staff in the proper registration and printing of patient reports Perform other clerical duties as needed, including insurance verification, recording statistics, registering patients, and updating patient accounts Assist with scheduling patient appointments, answer phones and inform patients of their benefits Perform other duties as needed Requirements High School Diploma Work Schedule 5 Days – 8 Hours Work Type Full Time #J-18808-Ljbffr CHRISTUS Health
