Clinical Research Associate I - Southern California (Dermatology)

AbbVie seeks a Clinical Research Associate I for Southern California dermatology clinical trials. The role involves site management, protocol compliance, staff training, and data integrity oversight to support clinical research execution.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary site contact, providing protocol information and strengthening stakeholder engagement
- Conduct site evaluations, training, monitoring activities, and closure in compliance with regulations and SOPs
- Monitor study performance and patient safety through continuous risk assessment and collaboration with central teams
- Ensure data quality, timeliness of submissions, and appropriate safety event reporting from clinical sites
- Develop site engagement strategies and recruitment/retention plans aligned with protocol requirements
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in health-related field or equivalent clinical experience
- Experience in clinical research coordinating or data management
- Knowledge of ICH/GCP Guidelines and regulatory requirements
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions in dynamic environments
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency with technology tools and critical thinking for problem-solving
