We are seeking dedicated and collaborative Hospitaliststo join our team at Sentara Princess Anne Hospital a 174-bed acute care hospital located in the heart of southern Virginia Beach serving a rapidly growing population across Virginia Beach Chesapeake and northeastern North Carolina. The hospital is Magnet designated for nursing excellence a certified Primary Stroke Center and has received numerous recognitions for quality patient safety and clinical outcomes.

Role Summary

The Hospitalist Physician provides inpatient medical care to the adult patient population working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to support quality safety and efficient patient flow.

Position Highlights

Nocturnist

• Shift: Part Time 8 shifts/month 9p-7a
• Coverage Model: Based on staff availability currently utilizing in-house MD and APPs. Only as last option eHub

Care Model

• Patient Census: Average Daily Census 75-80
• APP Support: 4p-4a

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Eligible (IM or FM) Certification must be obtained within 5 years of eligibility
• Eligible for licensure and credentialing in Virginia

We provide market-competitive compensation packages inclusive of base pay incentives and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $272688.00 - $373796.80 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials on-call pay shift premiums extra-shift incentives or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications experience location market conditions and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted it is based on a full-time colleague working 2080 hours annually.
