Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis
• Supervise staff to whom appropriate patient care has been delegated
• Support nursing leadership to ensure high quality and safe patient care delivery
• Monitor and manage appropriate clinical resources related to patient care
• Contribute to the competency development and oversight of clinical staff at the unit level

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Experience in an ICU or CCU clinical setting
• Demonstrated ability to assess and manage critically ill patients
• Strong clinical decision-making and critical thinking skills
• Ability to delegate and supervise patient care staff effectively

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience supporting nursing leadership or charge nurse responsibilities
• Familiarity with resource management practices in a critical care environment
