Cardiac Catheterization RN - Travel Contract

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift, 4x10 hours (07:00 - 17:30) with on-call requirements.

The Cardiac Catheterization RN will support patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures. This role requires expertise in procedural care, including handling biopsies, GI, GU/Renal, and Peripheral Vascular procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Administer blood products and manage blood product transfusions.
• Perform cardioversion and defibrillation as required.
• Utilize cooling and warming blankets, obtain 12 lead EKGs.
• Manage syringe pumps and handle sheath removal and monitoring.
• Assist with interventional procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiac catheterization or interventional radiology.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Active compact RN license in hand at submission.
• Travel experience is preferred; first-time travelers will not be accepted.
