Are you patient, dependable, energetic, and passionate about helping children learn and grow? We are seeking a  Specialized Care Attendant to provide personalized, attentive care in a safe, nurturing home environment.

What You’ll Do

• Provide safe, attentive, and compassionate care for children.
• Supervise daily routines and provide consistency, structure, and support.
• Engage children in age-appropriate educational, recreational, and developmental activities.
• Assist with reading, homework, educational games, and skill-building activities.
• Encourage healthy habits, including personal hygiene, exercise, nutrition, and self-care.
• Support children's social development through play, community activities, and meaningful interactions.
• Develop positive, trusting relationships with each child while encouraging communication and independence.
• Plan activities based on each child's interests, abilities, and developmental needs.
• Transport or accompany children to activities and community events as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of routines, activities, progress, and interests.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's needs, progress, and daily activities.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in childcare, education, caregiving, or a related field.
• Ability to provide attentive one-on-one care while supporting multiple children when needed.
• Patient, energetic, dependable, and comfortable actively engaging with children.
• Understanding of child development and age-appropriate learning activities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow routines, household expectations, and family guidelines.
• Strong commitment to children's safety, well-being, and development.
• CPR and First Aid certification , or willingness to obtain.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel with children as needed.

Working Conditions

This is a home-based childcare position that may require flexibility with the family's schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends. The role involves active participation with children, including playing, supervising activities, and accompanying them in the community.
