Maintenance Technician

Location: Casper, Wyoming
Pay: $25/hour

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Maintenance Technician for a local manufacturing client. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production and facility equipment to support safe and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment
Perform emergency and scheduled maintenance on machinery
Work with mechanical systems including bearings, gears, hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, and motors
Diagnose and repair basic electrical systems (AC/DC, motor starters, fuses, relays)
Use hand tools, power tools, welders, and diagnostic equipment (voltmeter, ammeter)
Assist with equipment rebuilds, new installations, and plant shutdowns
Support all departments during equipment breakdowns
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow all safety policies and procedures
Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

2+ years of hands-on mechanical maintenance experience (manufacturing preferred)
High school diploma or skilled trades training preferred
Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and diagrams
Basic computer skills (MS Office, maintenance systems)
Welding and fabrication experience a plus
English proficiency required
Valid driver's license may be required

Physical Requirements

Stand and walk for 8-12 hour shifts
Lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs repeatedly
Climb ladders and work on elevated equipment
Work in hot, cold, and noisy environments
Wear required PPE
