Travel Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery

What You'll Bring to the Role:

• Proven experience in labor and delivery, postpartum, or perinatal nursing, with an ability to handle complex patient needs independently
• Current RN license in Texas or a compact state, with active BLS and certification in NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM), NRP, and STABLE. ACLS certification is also required.
• Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a compassionate approach to patient and family care
• Ability to adapt to dynamic clinical situations and work effectively during night shifts (7 PM – 7 AM)
• Prior experience in a hospital setting, preferably with perinatal RN residency or recent practice in perinatal nursing, is highly valued

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with 3D mammography, neonatal intensive care, or advanced obstetric procedures
• Bilingual abilities or additional certifications related to maternal-fetal health or neonatal care

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred
• At least 1 year of relevant labor and delivery or perinatal nursing experience

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to travel and work night shifts as scheduled
• Ability to attend new nurse orientation within the first 30 days of employment and complete ongoing annual competency requirements
• Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
