Senior Systems Administrator

Support the National Programs Intelligence Systems & Application Operating Unit. Ensure applications remain operational by monitoring performance and providing technical assistance. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to resource usage. Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving system and database issues. Oversee and manage both virtual and physical servers for enterprise, regional, and local systems. Requirements BA/BS degree with 5+ years of relevant experience; or Masters degree with 3+ years of experience. Proven experience in system administration, specifically with Linux, including RHEL and Ubuntu, and UNIX in classified environments. Some Windows server administration experience would be good to have. Hands‑on experience with Oracle Database installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Experience managing both virtual and physical servers. Experience performing system monitoring. Experience with backup management. Experience implementing performance optimizations.
