Assembly Mechanic Assembly Mechanic Company: REV Group, Inc. Location: Hamburg, NY, US, 14075 Work Hours: Monday - Thursday from 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM, plus Optional Overtime on Friday and Saturday or Monday - Thursday from 6:00 am - 4:30 pm, plus Optional Overtime on Friday and Saturday Scope: Acts as a subject matter expert and team leader, handling complex systems, mentoring others, and supporting production planning. Core Responsibilities: Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of: Electrical systems (complex wiring, controls) Mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Ability to lift up to 40lbs unassisted Diagnose and resolve complex system-level issues. Lead testing, validation, and final system verification. Serve as a technical advisor to supervisors. Assist in: Production planning Daily/weekly scheduling Review and scrub: Print packages BOMs Shop orders (identify and correct discrepancies) Optimize workflows and support process improvements. Leadership & Training: Train and mentor new and transferred employees. Lead by example in: Safety Quality Work ethic Support team development and knowledge sharing. Technical Skills: Expert-level understanding of: Electrical systems (12V DC / 110V AC) Schematics and system integration Hydraulic systems (strongly preferred) Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic ability. Problem Solving: Independently resolve highly complex issues. Lead root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions. Drive continuous improvement initiatives. Drive results and support team performance goals. The pay scale for newly hired employees in this position at this location in New York is 16.50 26.00. This is based on meeting all of the requirements of the role. The base pay offered for the role may vary depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
