Material Flow Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a Material Flow Specialist to support material control, inventory accuracy, work order tracking, and material movement within a CCA (Circuit Card Assembly) / electronics manufacturing environment. This role works closely with materials and production teams to maintain accurate inventory records, organize materials, and ensure jobs are properly documented and accounted for.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with data, and proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate counts and quantities of materials, parts, and inventory within company systems.
• Monitor and update inventory records to ensure system quantities accurately reflect physical inventory.
• Organize and maintain material boards, parts, and other materials used by the department.
• Coordinate the movement and distribution of materials to other departments as needed.
• Create and maintain work tickets for individual jobs, documenting materials used and quantities required.
• Ensure material usage is accurately documented for job costing, tracking, and government reporting requirements.
• Review material information and identify discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
• Use Microsoft Excel to create, maintain, and organize spreadsheets used for inventory tracking, material control, and departmental reporting.
• Work closely with materials, production, and other departments to ensure materials are available and properly tracked.
• Maintain organized records and documentation to support accurate job and material tracking.
• Assist with identifying material discrepancies and resolving inventory or documentation issues.
• Follow established procedures while helping maintain an organized and efficient material flow throughout the department.
• Perform other material control and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with inventory, material control, material handling, work orders, or production support preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing, electronics, aerospace/defense, or CCA environment is a plus.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet management.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Comfortable working with computer systems to enter, update, and verify inventory information.
• Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with multiple departments.
• Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team.
• Familiarity with electronic components or circuit card assembly is a plus.

Pay Rate: $32-$35 per hour, depending on experience (DOE)
Schedule: Flexible early-morning start between 5:00 AM and 6:00 AM - Full time
