As a Customer Service Representative, you will provide outstanding service by creating a positive experience for our client base of friendly people who love sharp and pointy things. This can include anything from answering phones and emails, educating customers on our wide variety of products, or working with in-store patrons to safely test and purchase their perfect blade.TasksAssist customers in placing, updating, tracking, and canceling their ordersAnswer customer inquiries about our products and provide recommendationsAdvise customers on and aid them in returning itemsHelp customers with their user accountsResponsibly handle cash drawer and report inaccuraciesStrive to continuously learn about our company and the products we offerCommunicate errors reported by customers to managementOther tasks as assigned by management SkillsFluent in spoken and written EnglishA desire to practice empathy and patience with all customers and peersAbility to utilize problem-solving for prompt decisions and conflict resolutionAn aptitude for quick and clear communicationProficiency in time-management and task prioritizationIntermediate computer literacy (or willingness to learn)Physical DemandsSitting for long periods of timeStanding for long periods of timeConsistent use of keyboard and mouseLooking at a computer screen for a long period of timeSafe inspection of knives and other edged cutting toolsWork EnvironmentOn-siteGeneral office/cubical environmentGeneral showroom environmentEducation and ExperienceRequired - Must be 18 years or older with a High School diploma, GED or equivalent Preferred - Previous customer service experiencePosition Type/Expected Hours of WorkFull-time, hourly/non-exempt10am to 7pm - Tuesday - Friday8am to 5pm - SaturdayStarting Pay: $15.00/hrEmployment at Blade HQ is predicated upon passing a background check and drug screening.
