Sr. Director, IT

Senior Director of Information Technology & Digital Transformation for the Biosciences Division at Thermo Fisher Scientific. This strategic leadership role partners with division executives to develop and execute technology roadmaps that drive business growth, operational excellence, and digital innovation across a complex global organization.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary technology advisor to Division President and Leadership Team on strategic priorities
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and enterprise strategies
- Partner across business and IT functions to identify and deploy AI, automation, and digital solutions
- Lead strategic technology portfolio management and governance with regular executive updates
- Build and mentor high-performing global IT team while managing operating and capital budgets
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, Business, or related field
- 12+ years progressive IT leadership in complex global organizations
- Proven ability to develop and execute technology strategies enabling business growth and digital transformation
- Experience leading enterprise applications, cloud, data analytics, AI, and automation initiatives
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, data governance, cybersecurity in regulated environments
- Demonstrated ability to influence executive stakeholders and build trusted relationships across matrixed organizations
- Experience in life sciences, biotechnology, diagnostics, healthcare, or regulated manufacturing preferred
