Step into an impactful role supporting students and school teams as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the upcoming academic year. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work onsite in a dynamic school environment, collaborating closely with staff and families to promote student success.
In this position, you’ll bring your expertise to a diverse caseload, making a measurable difference from August through May. As the role is tailored to school-year needs, your work hours may flex to align with the assignment’s parameters, providing a unique balance for work-life integration. Remote interviews are conducted via Zoom for your convenience.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Previous experience in a K-12 school setting preferred
- In-depth knowledge of conducting functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and creating behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Dedication to maintaining compliance with best practice standards and ethical guidelines
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine individualized student needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans
- Train and support educators, aides, and families in behavioral strategies and interventions
- Collect and analyze data to inform practices and improve outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to confidentiality requirements
