This role involves providing specialized care for women during labor, delivery, and postpartum as part of the department's team. The position requires clinical expertise in obstetrics and the ability to manage high-risk deliveries and related procedures. Job Details Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience in labor and delivery, valid compact license, certifications including BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, and preferred ACLS Certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate (required); ACLS (preferred) Patient diagnoses: Labor and preterm labor cases, high-risk deliveries, postpartum care Special procedures: Blood and blood product administration, cardioversion, defibrillation, cooling/warming blankets, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, wound vac management, medication administration (heparin, insulin, magnesium sulfate) Special equipment: Attends all deliveries, high-risk deliveries, GYN surgeries, couplet care, low-risk antepartum, transition nursery Additional qualifications: Experience with circulation, OB-GYN, post-op, pre-op, scrub roles, and management of high-risk obstetric patients. Floating: Float rotation may be required to other related units based on skill set and staffing needs.
