Job Description
ELECTRICAL ESTIMATOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review commercial construction plans and specifications
- Prepare accurate proposals for lightning protection and grounding systems
- Perform quantity takeoffs and analyze project requirements
- Communicate project scope, exclusions, and pricing with customers
- Collaborate with project managers and internal teams throughout the estimating process
- Maintain accurate estimating documentation and records
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction estimating experience
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Strong organizational, planning, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously
- Customer-focused mindset with strong relationship-building skills
- Ability to pass a background check and drug & alcohol screening
- Electrical or lightning protection estimating experience
- Experience performing quantity takeoffs from construction drawings
- Experience with Bluebeam, QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel and Word
- Construction Management degree preferred
