Do you have a great work history with longevity? Looking for 3rd shift work? Local custom plastic extrusion company is hiring Extruder Operators for 3rd shiftExtruder Operators are responsible for:
- Setting up and operating the plastic extrusion machines
- Start machines or production equipment in order to begin production processes.
- Operate multiple machines while following company safety guidelines and policies.
- Keep machines operational by performing general maintenance and electrical troubleshooting, addressing any failures or malfunctions with corrective actions.
- Reload raw materials to keep machines running.
- Examine finished products and raw goods to verify quality of standards is being met and trouble shoot if necessary.
- Keep work area and equipment clean
Extruder Operators take different types of compounds and pellets to form plastic material.
• Temperature and vacuum gauges are used in different set zones of machine to melt compound to formed the size.
• Once heated to correct temperatures the Plastic is form and inspected to check correct size with caliper's, tap measurement to see if the length an size stay in size.
• Check each part and the machine to make sure it's correct to be shipped Will train on 1st shift (Monday- Friday 8 am - 4 pm) and then move to 3rd shift (12 am - 8 am) Pay $18.00/hour + shift premium
