As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Archbold, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location. Manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a people-first culture built on integrity, teamwork, reliability, agility, and innovation. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, issue badges or passes as directed, and help control entry and exit in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly documenting and reporting security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and access-control systems as assigned; report unusual activity, equipment concerns, and unauthorized access attempts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter, while observing food production access requirements and site conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
