We're looking for a skilled Diesel/Trailer Mechanic to join our Taylor, MI shop — someone who takes pride in their work, owns their bay, and wants to be part of a team that's going somewhere.

About the Role

You'll be the reason our fleet stays road-ready. From preventative maintenance to complex diagnostics, you'll work across a diverse range of equipment with the autonomy to get the job done right — and a team behind you when you need it.

What You'll Do

• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs across a variety of trucks and trailers
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems — air, brakes, electrical, tires, and sheet metal — with minimal supervision
• Conduct DOT/FMCSA inspections and ensure all completed work meets regulatory and company standards
• Document work accurately using electronic POS and SVO systems (time, parts, workflow, completed repairs)
• Collaborate with fellow technicians to evaluate equipment condition and meet turnaround targets
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace at all times

What You Bring

• Hands-on experience in truck and trailer repair — air systems, electrical, brakes, tires, and sheet metal
• Class A CDL preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
• Strong communication skills — you'll interface directly with drivers daily
• A solutions-first mindset and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment
• Comfort with electronic shop management systems, or the drive to learn quickly
