Warehouse Worker - Poway - 1st Shift - $18/hrThe warehouse worker will engage in various shipping tasks, including unloading and loading trucks, wrapping products, and other material handling duties. The role requires physical activity and attention to detail in a dynamic warehouse setting.ResponsibilitiesUnload and load trucks efficiently.Handle materials by pulling equipment from containers.Palletize products and ensure secure wrapping and strapping.Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.Perform heavy lifting and other general warehouse duties.Essential SkillsExperience in a warehouse or general labor environment for 6 months to 1 year.Ability to lift 50lbs or more.Familiarity with palletizing and wrapping products.Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.Maintain good attendance.Additional Skills & QualificationsWillingness to submit to a drug test.Experience with forklifts is advantageous.The company offers cross-training opportunities and a contract-to-hire pathway, providing room for professional growth and development.Work EnvironmentThe work schedule is from 6 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The facility is open, leading to variable temperatures; however, breaks and hydration are provided during hot conditions. Heavy lifting is a regular part of the job, and employees start working with forklifts from day one.This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA.The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
