Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect ServiceNow to lead the end-to-end architecture, design, and governance of enterprise ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate will have expert-level experience across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and SecOps , with a strong background in platform architecture, integrations, governance, and enterprise-scale implementations. This role will work closely with customer stakeholders, architects, technical teams, and delivery leadership to define the ServiceNow roadmap and ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the overall ServiceNow solution architecture across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, SecOps , and related platform capabilities.

  • Analyze business requirements and design scalable, secure, and maintainable ServiceNow solutions.

  • Define platform architecture, governance, CSDM strategy, CMDB architecture, data models, security standards, and upgrade roadmaps.

  • Lead architecture for ITSM processes including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Service Catalog, Knowledge, SLA, Major Incident, and Reporting.

  • Design ITOM solutions including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, AIOps, Service Health, and operational visibility.

  • Define CMDB governance, CI lifecycle, relationship models, reconciliation rules, and data quality standards.

  • Provide architectural guidance for SecOps, including Security Incident Response, Vulnerability Response, and security integrations.

  • Design and govern integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server , monitoring tools, identity platforms, and enterprise applications.

  • Mentor developers and technical leads on scripting, Flow Designer, platform customization, integration patterns, and best practices.

  • Conduct architecture reviews, performance assessments, security reviews, and release governance.

  • Drive platform roadmap, technical debt reduction, upgrade planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Support solution estimation, proposals, risk analysis, transition planning, and knowledge transfer.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 10 15 years of IT experience with extensive ServiceNow architecture and implementation expertise.

  • Expert knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and SecOps modules.

  • Strong experience with CSDM , CMDB governance, Discovery, Service Mapping, CI lifecycle, and data governance.

  • Hands-on expertise in Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, MID Server, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Workflows .

  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise applications using REST/SOAP APIs and web services.

  • Knowledge of Service Portal, Workspace, UI Builder, ACLs, roles, and platform security .

  • Experience with Automated Test Framework (ATF), upgrade planning, performance tuning, release management, and platform governance .

  • Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, Git, Jira, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD practices.

  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and enterprise service management.

  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and solution design skills.
