$6,031.00 - $7,547.00 per Month Final Filing Date: 5/22/2026 Job Overview The Secretary of State (SOS), Management Services Division is recruiting for a permanent, full‑time Analyst II position in the Safe at Home program. The program provides confidential address forwarding services to victims of domestic violence, human trafficking, stalking, sexual assault, child abduction, elder and dependent adult abuse, and related household members, as well as reproductive health care workers and public entity employees who fear for their safety. The position is located in downtown Sacramento near a Light Rail stop. Responsibilities Under direct supervision of the Safe at Home Operations Manager, the incumbent will: review and process applications and renewals; manage terminations for non‑renewal; draft and send correspondence; prepare and send participant packets; respond to enrollment inquiries; conduct data collection and analysis to assess program efficiency, resource needs, and improvement opportunities; produce routine reports to management; and support the call center by answering questions, providing enrollment status, and referring to resources. Desirable Qualifications Experience utilizing databases and completing data entry. Experience collecting, analyzing, reporting, and presenting data to management and/or stakeholders. Experience developing, updating, and communicating policies and procedures. Excellent written and oral communication and telephone customer service skills. Ability to convey and present complex information to broad audiences. Experience working with populations affected by trauma and ability to empathize. Demonstrated tact, resourcefulness, and diplomacy with stakeholders, maintaining a high level of professionalism. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, participants, community‑based organizations, local government agencies, and statewide organizations/agencies. Ability to protect and safeguard personal and confidential information. Ability to maintain organization during multi‑faceted projects and assignments with competing priorities and changing deadlines. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Adobe Acrobat, and related applications. Working Conditions The incumbent must work Monday‑Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Telework opportunities are available based on the agency’s telework policy and business needs.
