QUALITY INSPECTOR

Quality Control Inspector (Valve Industry) Specialty Valves seeks an experienced Quality Control Inspector for a high‑priority, 2‑month contract assignment in Texas. Pay range: $24.00–$32.00 per hour (based on experience). Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with availability for required overtime. Required experience: technical background in valve manufacturing, especially plug and ball valves; 3 years in visual, dimensional, and receiving inspections; strong knowledge of severe-service valve tolerances; ability to manage nonconformity documentation (NCRs). Bonus: experience with non‑destructive testing (NDT, MTR, LPI, X‑ray), CMM or manual lathe, and documentation of test reports. Hours: 8 AM – 4 PM (shift First). Salary: $49,920 – $66,560 per year. Responsibilities Conduct rigorous visual, dimensional, and receiving inspections of valve assemblies. Verify final assemblies and test reports. Maintain strict equipment calibration logs. Document and manage non‑conformance using NCRs. Skills Quality Control (minimum 3 years). Non‑Destructive Testing (NDT) (minimum 3 years). Ball valve inspection (preferred 3 years). Plug valve inspection (minimum 3 years). Testing (minimum 3 years). Qualifications Experience: Minimum 3 years in quality control for valve manufacturing.
