This organization supports multi-site operations and maintains a strong commitment to continuous improvement and process optimization. Key Responsibilities Assist with management of month-end and year-end activities Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy across multiple entities or locations Support cost accounting and inventory-related activities within a product-based environment Assist with financial statement preparation in accordance with GAAP Partner with internal teams to analyze variances, improve processes, and support operational decision-making Assist with internal and external audits, including preparation of supporting documentation Strengthen internal controls and identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows Qualifications 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably within manufacturing, industrial, or product-based environments Strong understanding of GAAP, general ledger accounting, and financial reporting processes Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and audit support Exposure to inventory or cost accounting a huge plus!
