This role owns the financial and economic thinking behind that gap across the business: finding where committed capacity exceeds real use, sizing what that's worth, and making the call on how much of it can be safely monetized or reclaimed without taking on too much risk.What You'll Be Working On:Identify and size opportunities where built or committed data center capacity, power, compute, or otherwise, isn't converting to revenuePartner with Capacity Planning, Product Management, and deal desk or legal to understand the technical, contractual, and commercial constraints behind each opportunityTranslate probabilistic or technical models, built by Capacity Planning or others, into financial terms: expected value, cost of getting it wrong, and a recommended course of actionMake the call on how much risk to take in exploiting a given gap, and defend that call to stakeholders across engineering, product, and leadershipBuild durable financial frameworks for opportunities once they're proven out, while still fielding live decisions on things already in motionWhat You'll Bring to the Team:5+ years of experience in financial planning, corporate finance, or capital allocation, ideally somewhere capital-intensive (infrastructure, utilities, real estate, or similar) where you've weighed committed capacity or capex against riskComfort with probabilistic thinking, distributions, expected value, tail risk, enough to work with a technical model someone else built without needing to build it yourselfTechnical curiosity to pick up unfamiliar infrastructure concepts quicklySQL proficiency, or similar, to pull and validate data yourselfExperience partnering with Product Management on pricing or product decisionsEnough contract fluency to work through what's allowed under existing customer agreementsComfort holding a position under pressure from stakeholders who want to move faster than the risk picture supportsBonus Points:Familiarity with GPU cloud economicsKnowledge of data center design and utilization metricsExperience with interruptible, spot, or committed-use pricing modelsBenefits:Competitive compensation and equity packagesRestricted Stock UnitsPaid time off, paid holidays & leave of absence programsComprehensive health, dental & vision insuranceEmployer contributions to HSA accountPaid parental leavePaid life insurance, short-term and long-term disabilityProfessional development & tuition reimbursementMental health & wellness supportCommuter benefits (parking & transit)Cell phone stipend401(k) Retirement plan with company match up to 4% of salaryVolunteer time offGlobal travel insurance & emergency assistanceDaily meals allowanceAdditional perks & programs specific to locationCompensation RangeCompensation will be paid in the range of up to $160,000 to $195,000 + Bonus.
