In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Clinician, you will operate primarily through our telehealth platform, allowing for versatility and flexibility in your work schedule. Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough, evidence-based assessments to identify clients' mental health needs, diagnose conditions, and formulate effective treatment plans tailored to individual circumstances.

  • Deliver high-quality therapy sessions—individual, couple, family, or group therapy—utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing.

  • Provide immediate crisis intervention support for clients facing acute mental health emergencies, employing effective de-escalation techniques to ensure safety and stabilization.

  • Maintain meticulous, confidential client records, including detailed progress notes, treatment plans, and assessment data, adhering to ethical and legal standards.

  • Engage in collaborative case management by working alongside an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure holistic and comprehensive client care.

  • Offer education and resources to clients and families regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources, ensuring they understand their rights and available support.

  • Commit to continuous professional development by staying informed through training, workshops, and relevant certifications in the mental health field.

The clients at Life Matters Counseling Center come from a broad range of backgrounds and experiences, which enriches the therapeutic process. You will be working with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and other mental health concerns.   • A valid license as a Mental Health Therapist, such as an LCMFT, LCPC, LCP, LCSW, or LSCSW is required.

  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related disciplines.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, essential for effective treatment planning.

  • A minimum of two years of related clinical experience, with a focus on mental health therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
