WHAT YOU'LL DO As our Material Handler , you will be responsible for safely and efficiently handling, moving, and staging lumber and building materials within the yard and warehouse. You will support daily operations by loading and unloading trucks, organizing inventory, and ensuring materials are stored and transported in a manner that maintains product quality and supports smooth workflow.

The Material Handler things:


o Receive, move, stage, and organize materials throughout the shop & warehouse

o Load and unload deliveries using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment

o Track inventory, label materials, and verify quantities against work orders

o Handle wood products, millwork components, and hardware with care and accuracy

o Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards

WHAT YOU NEED Qualifications:

• High school diploma, or equivalent, preferred
• Experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or manufacturing environments
• Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-moving equipment
• Strong understanding of inventory control practices and basic documentation
• Ability to reach and interpret work orders, labels, and basic shop drawings
• Comfortable lifting, moving, and organizing materials up to required weight limits
• Basic math and measurement skills for verifying quantities and material dimensions
• Familiarity with wood products, millwork components, or construction materials
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment

WORK ENVIRONMENT This position operates in a fast-paced, hands-on millwork shop and warehouse environment with regular exposure to noise, dust, and active machinery.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS Capable of physically demanding work with the ability to lift up to 75-100lbs consistently

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK Days and hours of work will be Monday through Friday 7:00am to 4:00pm.
