Human Resources Coordinator

Overview Cambrian Homecare, LLC has been providing compassionate, flexible, and personalized in-home care services since 1996, helping seniors and individuals with developmental disabilities live independently in the comfort of their homes. We are seeking a compassionate, capable, and dependable Full-Time Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at our corporate office in Long Beach . As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will help support day-to-day HR operations by serving as a trusted resource for employees and providing administrative and operational support in onboarding, employee record management, and HR compliance. Responsibilities Support the employee onboarding and offboarding process, including new hire paperwork, background checks, and data entry Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in HRIS Assist with employee inquiries including but not limited to benefits, employment and wage references, policies or other employee inquiries Prepare and process employment-related documentation Assist with HR reporting, audits, and compliance documentation Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws Qualifications Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Bachelor's preferred) 1-3 years experience in HR administrative or support role Knowledge of California and federal employment laws Knowledge of basic HR funtions and employment practices Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Ability to maintain descretion when working with confidential information Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) Experience and familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., Paycom, ADP, Paylocity, or similar) preferred Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Job Requirements: 18+ years old US work authorization Ability to pass a background and reference check Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment withoutregard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protectedveteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristicprotected by federal, state or local laws.
