Role Description The Real Estate Paralegal will support attorneys with all aspects of real estate transactions, including organizing case files, coordinating closings, and preparing documentation for residential and commercial deals. Daily responsibilities include drafting and reviewing purchase agreements, leases, closing documents, and correspondence, as well as managing title and survey information, and tracking key deadlines. The role involves communicating with clients, brokers, lenders, and title companies to obtain information, resolve issues, and ensure timely completion of matters. The paralegal will also assist with due diligence, maintain accurate records, and help ensure compliance with firm procedures and applicable regulations. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Staten Island, NY. Qualifications Strong skills in legal document preparation for real estate matters, including contracts, closing documents, and leases. Experience conducting due diligence, including reviewing title reports, surveys, and related property records. Knowledge of title insurance processes and requirements, and ability to liaise with title companies and lenders. Familiarity with residential and commercial real estate transactions, including lease agreements and closing procedures. Prior paralegal or legal assistant experience in real estate or a closely related practice area. Solid organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple transactions and deadlines. Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency with standard office software and case or document management systems. Paralegal certificate or relevant coursework, or equivalent practical experience in a law office setting. #J-18808-Ljbffr
