Mainframe Programmer

We are seeking a Mainframe Programmer to participate in the full life cycle development process. This role focuses on developing business applications, supporting existing applications, and implementing modifications to meet current and future business needs. The position typically involves work with high-volume and large-scale batch or online processing systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and enhance business applications within a mainframe or mid-range environment.
• Support and maintain existing applications to ensure optimal performance and stability.
• Implement changes and updates based on evolving business unit requirements.
• Engage in the full software development life cycle, from analysis to implementation.
• Work with high-volume batch or online processing systems.

Required Qualifications

Technical Skills:

• Expertise with RPG400, RPG III, COBOL, or SYNON in an AS/400 environment.
• Experience with COBOL or C on mid-range platforms such as DEC VAX or HP3000.
