Responsibilities The Quality Final Inspector Specialist is responsible for the final inspection of customer orders and generation of certifications (COAs) prior to shipment. The role involves working with various functions including site quality, shipping, and customer service to ensure all requirements are met before material is shipped to the customer. The Quality Final Inspector Specialist plays a key role as the last line of defense before the customer receives our material. This role requires detailed review and understanding of Solvay and customer quality documents. Generation of certifications involves retrieving and generating physical and electronic documents, compiling all information together using electronic systems and signing for Quality Final Inspector approval. Qualifications 3-5 years previous experience with review and generation of controlled documents Strong attention to detail in reviewing written and electronic documentation Strong written and oral communication skills Ability to interpret and understand standards and technical documents Strong computer skills and ability to easily learn electronic systems Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Adobe Bachelor's degree in STEM related field Working knowledge of AS-9100 Rev D/ISO-9000:2015 Aerospace Quality Management systems or similarly highly regulated industry. Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary and benefits package. The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $52,518-$65,647 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range.
