Konik is partnering with an established industrial technology manufacturer seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to manage key customer relationships and drive business growth. This role blends technical expertise with consultative sales, supporting customers throughout the product lifecycle while serving as a key liaison between customers and internal engineering, operations, and leadership teams.

The ideal candidate brings a strong technical foundation, experience supporting complex products, and the ability to translate customer needs into practical business and engineering solutions.

Technical Sales Engineer Responsibilities:

• Manage strategic customer accounts and develop long-term relationships with key decision-makers and influencers
• Partner with sales leadership to execute growth strategies, expand market opportunities, and support company revenue objectives
• Guide opportunities from quotation through production, implementation, ongoing support, and product lifecycle management
• Provide advanced technical application support for customers using complex mechanical, electrical, and software-based systems
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, service, and marketing teams to align customer requirements with business capabilities
• Support product and parts costing activities while helping identify upgrade, replacement, and service opportunities within existing accounts
• Gather customer and market feedback, communicating industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging needs to internal stakeholders

Technical Sales Engineer Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5+ years of experience in technical sales, applications engineering, or a customer-facing technical role
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software-driven systems
• Business acumen with the ability to balance technical requirements and commercial objectives
• Experience managing multiple priorities, customer projects, and sales activities simultaneously
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel capabilities
• Ability to travel up to 25% as needed

Preferred Experience:

• Advanced degree such as an MBA or engineering-focused graduate degree
• 7+ years of technical sales, customer support, or applications engineering experience supporting technical products
