Introduction Our client is a hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. This is a 24/7 AAHA accredited small animal hospital providing comprehensive primary, advanced, and emergency care for dogs and cats. The hospital offers a broad case variety and a collaborative environment supported by extensive medical resources and a large clinical team. Working Hours / Rota The hospital operates 24 hours a day. Opportunities are available for full-time and part-time positions, including overnights, swing shifts, and weekends. Role Description and Responsibilities This role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. Clinical responsibilities include wellness exams, preventative care, diagnostics, anesthesia, dentistry, general surgery, routine surgeries including spays and neuters, hospitalization, emergency care, pain management, and intensive care. The Associate Veterinarian will perform comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups, utilize advanced diagnostic equipment, manage hospitalized cases, maintain medical records, and collaborate closely with the broader veterinary and leadership teams to provide high standards of care. Practice Details This hospital has been in operation since 1929 and is AAHA accredited. The facility includes 7 exam rooms, a dedicated surgical suite, a dedicated dental suite, digital radiographs, dental radiographs, ultrasound, ligasure, Tonopen, 2 oxygen chambers, isolation ward, in-house laboratory, in-house pharmacy, intensive care capabilities, sevoflurane anesthesia, an overnight sleeping room, and boarding services. Hands-free radiology is strongly encouraged. Board-certified cardiologists, criticalists, and dermatologists visit the hospital at least once per month. Services include advanced care, digital radiology, ultrasound, preventive care, anesthesia, dental care, general surgery, internal medicine, hospice care, hospitalization, pain management, emergency care, and full diagnostics. Team The hospital has 11 DVMs and a great tenured support team, including veterinary assistants, registered veterinary technicians, receptionists, kennel assistants, pharmacy support, janitorial staff, and management.
