As a Mental Health Counselor, you will have the flexibility to conduct sessions from your home office, allowing you to create a comfortable and productive environment for both you and your clients. While the majority of your sessions may take place remotely, you will also have opportunities to collaborate with our in-office team, participate in case consultations, and engage in peer support.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to accurately diagnose and understand clients' mental health concerns, utilizing tools such as standardized assessments and clinical interviews. \n
- Develop individualized treatment plans aimed at addressing clients' specific needs using evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other therapeutic techniques. \n
- Provide one-on-one therapy sessions, both remotely and face-to-face when needed, ensuring that therapy approaches are tailored to each individual’s unique circumstances and challenges. \n
- Collaborate actively with clients to set therapeutic goals, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing evaluations of progress. \n
- Deliver teletherapy options for clients who prefer virtual appointments, ensuring accessibility for those facing transportation or mobility challenges. \n
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in accordance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with health care policies. \n
- Engage in continual professional development through workshops, training, and supervision to stay current with advancements in mental health practices and methodologies. \n

Qualifications\n- \n
- A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD). \n
- A master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology. \n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building trusting relationships with clients and collaborating with team members. \n
- Exhibit empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental stance towards clients' experiences and challenges, fostering an environment conducive to therapeutic growth. \n
- Demonstrable organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage caseloads and navigate a blend of clinical and administrative tasks. \n

- Proven track record in maintaining client records and conducting assessments in compliance with regulatory standards. \n
- Previous experience in a remote work setting, with familiarity in using telehealth platforms for therapy sessions. \n
