Job Title Mechanic Job Summary This mechanic/technician role performs preventive maintenance, sophisticated diagnostics, and complex repairs on equipment to minimize downtime. The fleet includes Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, and specialty lines such as large‑scale generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas equipment. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired. 5+ years of mechanic experience with diesel or heavy equipment, or specialty lines such as generators, pumps, HVAC, or oil & gas equipment. Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting skills. Advanced knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting skills. Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Physical Demands Requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50 pounds or more. Work may occur indoors or outdoors as required. Reasonable accommodations may be made. Pay $34.00‑$36.00 per hour, subject to the collective bargaining agreement for this location.
