Occupational Therapist Assistant

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Health Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team. As an integral member of our healthcare staff, you will work closely with Occupational Therapists to provide high-quality care and support to patients in the comfort of their homes. Responsibilities: Conduct assessments to evaluate patients' physical, mental, and emotional capabilities. Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans. Work directly with patients to implement interventions, including exercises, activities, and techniques. Monitor and document patient progress, and communicate findings to the supervising Occupational Therapist. Educate patients and their families on strategies for improving daily functioning. Provide recommendations for adaptive equipment and home modifications, as needed. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
