Come build it with us.Job DescriptionWe're looking for a driven, detail-oriented Investor Relations professional to join our Finance team. Reporting to the VP of Investor Relations, you'll help shape how the investment community understands our business, growth strategy, and financial performance.This is a highly visible individual contributor role at the intersection of finance, strategy, and communications. You'll own key aspects of the quarterly earnings process, partner closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams, support institutional investor engagement, and help evolve our Investor Relations function through process improvements and emerging AI technologies.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing operational excellence with strategic thinking and wants to grow their career in Investor Relations.What You'll Do:Investor CommunicationsSupport the execution of quarterly earnings, including scripts, press releases, Q&A preparation, presentations, and investor materialsCoordinate cross-functional deliverables across FP&A, Accounting, Legal, Corporate Communications, and external vendors to ensure accurate and timely public disclosuresMaintain the Investor Relations website, financial calendar, and supporting materialsHelp develop messaging and presentation materials that communicate Freshworks' strategy and financial performanceInvestor EngagementSupport relationships with institutional investors, sell-side analysts, and research firmsCoordinate roadshows, investor conferences, non-deal roadshows, and Investor Day activitiesHelp develop investor targeting initiatives and monitor shareholder ownership trendsTrack investor feedback and summarize insights for executive leadershipFinancial AnalysisUpdate consensus models and monitor Street expectationsTrack peer performance, valuation trends, and sector sentimentSupport financial modeling and analysis related to investor communicationsMonitor SaaS operating metrics including ARR, NRR, Rule of 40, operating margin, and free cash flowProcess ImprovementTake ownership of critical Investor Relations processes with exceptional attention to detailIdentify opportunities to improve reporting, workflows, and documentationEvaluate and leverage AI-enabled tools to improve operational efficiency across the Investor Relations functionQualificationsRequired Qualifications4-6 years of experience in Investor Relations, Corporate Finance, FP&A, Equity Research, Investment Banking, or a related functionPublic company Investor Relations experience strongly preferredExceptional organizational skills and attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience managing multiple high-priority projects and deadlinesFoundational understanding of financial modeling and valuationBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related fieldPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting quarterly earnings or public company financial communicationsFamiliarity with SEC disclosure requirements and Reg FDExperience interacting with institutional investors and/or sell-side analystsExperience supporting Investor Day, analyst events, or roadshowsFamiliarity with SaaS business models and financial metricsAdditional InformationPlease note this is a hybrid role with onsite expectations of 3x/week (Tues - Thurs) from our San Mateo, CA headquarters.The annual base salary range for this position is $172,000 - $210,000. This role is also eligible for a target bonus.Compensation is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to location, experience, job-related skills, and level.Freshworks offers multiple options for dental, medical, vision, disability, and life insurance.
