Software Engineer III

Responsibilities

Design and develop software aligned with system and subsystem requirements and product specifications. Maintain and expand existing Trip Optimizer® functionality while developing new features. Perform root cause analysis, investigate issues, and implement defect fixes. Create software design, requirements, process, and architecture documentation. Participate in software architecture, design, and code reviews. Execute and enhance the software development lifecycle. Create and maintain automated unit tests for new designs. Investigate and remediate cybersecurity vulnerabilities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. At least four years of C/C++ software development experience. Proficiency in software design, methods, architecture approaches, and software engineering principles. Preferred experience with Agile or Tollgate Software Development. Preferred experience with embedded real-time operating systems, including QNX Neutrino and Yocto. Preferred experience with GitLab, x86 or PowerPC microprocessors, Coverity, VectorCAST or Google Test, cybersecurity engineering, and IBM ELM Tool Suite.
