Job Title

Travel RN – Medical Telemetry / Neuroscience Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 36-bed Neuroscience Telemetry unit with patient ratios of 5:1 to 6:1 on day shift and up to 7:1 on night shift
• Perform Foley catheter insertions and IV starts as part of routine unit procedures
• Utilize Cerner EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Operate standard medical-surgical equipment in a telemetry care environment
• Float to other medical-surgical floors as needed per unit guidelines
• Collaborate with charge nurses, CNAs, and HUC staff to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior neuroscience or neurology nursing experience
• Previous travel nursing experience in a telemetry setting
