Electrical AssemblerJoin a growing prefabrication manufacturing team in the person, VA as an Assembler, where you will use your mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience to build high-quality products in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This role is ideal for individuals with backgrounds in industrial manufacturing, construction, mechanical assembly, carpentry, electrical work, or other skilled trades who enjoy working with tools, reading measurements and blueprints, and contributing to a long-term career path in manufacturing.ResponsibilitiesAssemble prefabricated components and products according to blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to perform mechanical assembly tasks.Read and interpret tape measurements and other measurement tools to ensure accurate cuts, fits, and alignments.Handle construction and industrial materials such as concrete components and structural parts as part of the assembly process.Follow production schedules and meet daily and weekly output targets while maintaining high quality standards.Work collaboratively with team members in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to complete projects on time.Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety policies and procedures, including proper use of required PPE.Identify and report any defects, issues, or discrepancies in materials or assemblies to supervisors or leads.Support general labor tasks as needed, including material handling, staging, and assisting other assemblers.Demonstrate consistent attendance, punctuality, and reliability to support a minimum 48-hour workweek on a late-shift schedule.Essential SkillsHands-on experience in industrial manufacturing, construction, mechanical assembly, carpentry, electrical work, general labor, or other skilled trades.Proficiency using hand tools and power tools in a safe and controlled manner.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, or construction plans.Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure and other measurement tools.Good manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude to work with tools, fasteners, and components.Demonstrated solid attendance record and strong work ethic in previous roles.Ability to work a minimum of 48 hours per week on an afternoon/evening shift schedule.Eligibility to work in the United States.Comfort working in a non-climate-controlled prefabrication manufacturing environment.Willingness to wear required PPE, including steel-toed boots, hard hat, safety vest, and safety glasses.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in construction or industrial manufacturing environments.Experience in mechanical assembly or production assembly work.Experience working with concrete, structural components, or similar construction materials.Prior work as a laborer helper, carpenter, or in other skilled trades.Ability to follow detailed instructions and adapt to training for new processes and tools.Interest in building a long-term career in manufacturing and growing into more skilled positions.Openness to training opportunities for candidates with strong hands-on experience and a strong work ethic.Why Work Here?You will join a growing facility that offers clear opportunities for advancement and the chance to move into more skilled positions over time, making it an excellent fit for mechanically inclined individuals who want to build a long-term career rather than just find a job. The work is hands-on and physically active, involving assembly of industrial and construction-related components in a production environment. Employees work a minimum of 48 hours per week on a late shift schedule, typically Monday through Friday from 4:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., with Fridays often being shorter. The environment emphasizes safety, and required personal protective equipment includes steel-toed boots, a hard hat, safety vest, and safety glasses. Contractors must provide their own steel-toed boots, while all other required PPE is provided on the first day of orientation.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ruther Glen, VA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
