At the Simi Valley location, engineers focus on servo drives, actuators, sensors, batteries, and embedded hardware platforms designed for extreme operating environments.The Senior Electrical Design Engineer will lead the design and development of advanced motor control electronics and embedded hardware systems powering mission critical aerospace, defense, and space programs.What You Will Be DoingHardware Architecture: Lead design, analysis, and integration of microcontroller based analog and digital systems for motion controlProduct Lifecycle: Drive hardware architecture, definition, component selection, and system level design from concept through releasePower Electronics: Develop and validate motor control systems using IGBTs, MOSFETs, drivers, and current sensing technologiesCollaboration: Partner with customers, software engineers, manufacturing teams, and program leadership to deliver solutionsLeadership: Mentor junior engineers, lead design reviews, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous engineering improvementsWhat You Need for This PositionBachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related fieldEmbedded Systems: Significant experience designing complex embedded electronic systemsCircuit Expertise: Strong background in analog/digital design, microcontrollers, power electronics, and motor control systemsTools: Proficiency with ORCAD schematic capture, PSpice simulation, FPGA integration, and high speed signal processingPreferred Skills: Experience with embedded C/C++, TCP/IP communications, sensorless motor control, military standards, and RFP processesWhat's In It for YouFull Benefits Package (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, LTD/STD, 401k w/ matching) and more!IF interested can you provide an updated resume & salary requirements to View email address on job-api.jobget.com
