Senior AWS Cloud Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities Design, implement, and optimize scalable, secure, and cost-effective AWS cloud solutions for large-scale data storage and migration. Lead on-premises to AWS data migration initiatives, including planning, execution, validation, and cutover activities. Configure and manage AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, Route 53, DataSync, S3 Replication, SageMaker, Glue, FSx, ECR, ELB, and Secrets Manager. Implement AWS DataSync and S3 replication solutions for high-volume data transfers and disaster recovery. Design and support large-scale data ingestion, archival, backup, and recovery architectures. Develop and deploy machine learning solutions using AWS SageMaker and Jupyter Notebooks. Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or equivalent platforms. Collaborate with business, infrastructure, network, database, and security teams to ensure successful project delivery. Troubleshoot complex cloud, storage, and data migration issues. Execute proof-of-concepts (POCs) and provide technical leadership on cloud initiatives. Coordinate onsite-offshore teams and provide project status reporting to stakeholders and leadership. Required Qualifications 7+ years of cloud engineering experience with 4+ years of hands-on AWS expertise. Strong experience with AWS DataSync, Amazon S3 (replication, lifecycle policies, versioning, encryption), and AWS SageMaker. Proven experience migrating large-scale datasets (TBs to PBs) from on-premises environments to AWS. Expertise in AWS networking, including VPN, Direct Connect, and bandwidth optimization. Experience designing highly available, fault-tolerant, and secure cloud architectures. Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent). Strong knowledge of IAM, KMS, encryption, security, governance, and compliance best practices. Experience with CI/CD automation and DevOps practices. Strong stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and team collaboration skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
