Azure Cloud Engineer

Salary: $150,000 - 190,000 per year Requirements:

• We need 4+ years of experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure-centered roles.
• We need strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure and platform services.
• We need practical experience building Infrastructure as Code solutions with Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, or comparable tools.
• We need a solid grasp of Azure governance and identity concepts, including RBAC, PIM, Azure Policy, and Entra ID.
• We need experience supporting cloud networking components such as VNETs, NSGs, load balancers, Application Gateway, private endpoints, routing, firewalls, and hybrid connectivity.
• We need experience working with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• We need strong scripting and automation skills with PowerShell or Bash.
• We need experience supporting distributed, cloud-native, or hybrid applications in Azure environments.
• We need strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across engineering teams.
• Nice to have: experience with Azure data services, exposure to C#/.NET or legacy Microsoft application stacks, and Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-700, or AZ-305.

• We design and deliver secure, scalable Azure infrastructure that supports applications, integrations, and data workloads.
• We build and maintain core platform capabilities that improve reliability and developer productivity.
• We implement Infrastructure as Code using Bicep, Terraform, and ARM templates.
• We develop automation workflows and operational tools using PowerShell, Bash, and cloud-native automation methods.
• We create self-service templates and deployment tooling that reduce friction for engineering teams.
• We partner with engineers to apply Azure governance, security controls, and platform best practices.
• We support cloud networking architecture, including VNETs, routing, firewalls, private endpoints, and hybrid connectivity.
• We monitor and tune cloud infrastructure for performance, cost effectiveness, and operational stability.
• We contribute to incident response, design reviews, and platform roadmap planning.
• We support observability and monitoring initiatives using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and KQL.
• We help modernize distributed and hybrid cloud environments.
