About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President for Data Center Operations, a pivotal role that demands a seasoned leader with a proven track record in enterprise-scale operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the performance, discipline, and daily execution of a national portfolio of mission-critical multi-tenant and wholesale data centers. This includes overseeing a large team and ensuring the operational heartbeat of the portfolio is in line with the company's standards for uptime, safety, and customer confidence. The role requires a leader with deep command of MEP systems, critical power and cooling infrastructure, and a relentless commitment to operational excellence. The Vice President will also be tasked with driving a culture of safety, ownership, and continuous improvement, as well as building and developing a high-performing operations leadership team. Applicants for the Vice President, Data Center Operations position at the company should have a minimum of ten years' progressive leadership experience in mission-critical operations or similarly complex environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in MEP systems and a proven ability to lead multi-site operations teams. Key responsibilities include enterprise data center operations leadership, critical facility, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing leadership, and safety, security, and risk management. The role is not for the faint-hearted; it demands a leader who can operate at a meaningful scale, influence enterprise performance, and shape a critical leadership team. The candidate should be adept at translating enterprise standards into high-quality execution and be prepared to be evaluated on their ability to build strong partnerships and create a high-confidence operating environment that can scale with the business.
