Collaboration, open communication, and a strong work ethic are core to our culture. As a dynamic and motivated FP&A Summer Project Associate, you will support both regional and corporate objectives. Your responsibilities include assisting with P&L forecasting, cash flow management, and internal reporting, and presenting forecasts to key stakeholders such as the regional General Manager and Senior Project Managers. Project duration: end May to end August (flexible hours, 30‑40 hrs per week). Location: Houston, TX office (or any other indicated office). Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities Data Gathering and Analysis Collect and organize financial data from various sources. Analyze historical financial performance to identify trends and patterns. Utilize tools and software to process and interpret financial information. P&L Forecasting Contribute to the preparation of Profit and Loss (P&L) forecasts. Work closely with the FP&A team to understand the factors influencing financial projections. Identify and report key drivers impacting revenue and expenses. Cash Flow Management Assist in developing and enhancing cash flow forecasting models. Collaborate to track and analyze cash flow trends. Contribute to the evaluation of working capital requirements. Internal Reporting Support creation of internal financial reports for management review. Summarize financial data and trends into clear, concise reports. Participate in discussions and presentations regarding financial performance. Procedure Documentation Document FP&A department procedures and best practices. Help develop standardized processes for financial analysis. Ensure documentation is clear, accurate, and accessible to team members. Ad Hoc Projects Participate in special projects and analyses as needed. Take on additional responsibilities to support evolving FP&A team needs. Qualifications Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related field. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and manipulate spreadsheets for financial analysis. Familiarity with financial software or tools (e.g., ERP systems) is a plus.
