Operating Room (OR) Nurse specializing in the Surgical Department in the local area. This position involves functioning independently across multiple surgical specialties with a focus on robotic-assisted procedures, trauma, and general surgeries. The role requires delivering high-quality patient care while supporting a fast-paced, interdisciplinary surgical team.

Job Details

• Position Description: Pre-Screen Unit - Candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine clinical fit, if clinical pass and within Wellspan guidelines, candidate will be sent to the manager for final decision. Clinical screens will be sent on case-by-case basis.*Manager will interview MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 3 years Level I Trauma experience required. Previous travel experience required. CALL REQUIREMENTS: 2-3 calls within a 6-week matrix (30-minute response required). RTO: MAX 7 days. WEEKENDS: 3-4 weekend shifts within a 6-week matrix (WEEKENDS CAN BE DAYS, EVENINGS, or NIGHTS). HOLIDAYS: as needed; may be day, evening, or night shift. FLOAT: as needed. Prefer that RNs scrub and circulate. Must be proficient with the Da Vinci Xi robotic surgical system and bonus points if familiar with the DV5 Da Vinci robot. Must be proficient in robotic general, gynecological, thoracic, and urological specialties. The Da Vinci Xi and DV5 are the only robots used. Other robotic experience (orthopedic/neuro robots) is not applicable. Level II trauma experience (minimum 1 year) is required. Ability to function independently in the following specialties: Robotics, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Gynecology, Urology, Bariatrics, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Thoracic (excluding cardiac and open heart), and Trauma. May care for COVID patients.
• Certifications: AHA or ARC certifications only.
• Required Qualifications: RN licensure in state where practicing, minimum of 3 years of OR experience, proficiency with robotic surgical systems, experience with Level II trauma, and ability to function independently across assigned specialties.
• Schedule: Days shift, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Start Date: 10/19/2026
• End Date: 01/18/2027
