Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapist Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Varied (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) Hours per Shift: 36 hours/week Experience: - Minimum of 24 months of RRT/Respiratory experience in a hospital setting - NICU experience within the last 18 months - Level III NICU experience within the last 15 months - Work history must include 36 months of current RRT/Respiratory Therapy experience License: - Iowa Respiratory license (highly preferred) Certifications: - BLS (Basic Life Support) - ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation) - NBRC certification Must-Have: - Equipment experience with Drager Vent, Jet Ventilator, and Oscillator Vent - Ability to float across different units Description: We are seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a varied shift position. The ideal candidate must have recent experience in a hospital setting. Candidates must be proficient in utilizing Drager, Jet, and Oscillator ventilators. Must have active certifications and be willing to float across different units. Recent NICU experience is required. All certifications must remain current and valid. Candidates should have completed a travel assignment within the past 15 months. This role requires a highly skilled professional with the ability to adapt to various patient needs.
