Manufacturing Engineer II – NPI & Medical Device Manufacturing
\nLocation: Bethel, CT 06801 (Onsite)
\nEmployment Type: Contract (12 months, with potential conversion to permanent)
\nStatus: Accepting Candidates
\n \nAbout the Role
\nSupport New Product Introduction (NPI) and manufacturing process development in a medical device manufacturing environment. Collaborate with Development and Manufacturing Engineering teams to establish manufacturing requirements, ensure production line readiness, and finalize inspection procedures.
\nKey Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Coordinate with Development and Manufacturing Engineering to define and document component manufacturing requirements and processes . \n
- Support devices as they progress through the product development lifecycle . \n
- Collaborate cross-functionally to confirm manufacturing line readiness . \n
- Ensure appropriate equipment, workspace, and staffing are prepared for manufacturing. \n
- Finalize inspection procedures , including inspection sample sizes, techniques, and gages for each lot of parts. \n
Qualifications
\n- \n
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Engineering discipline . \n
- 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing environment. \n
- Medical device industry experience preferred. \n
- Ability to collaborate with Development and Manufacturing Engineering teams. \n
- Experience with manufacturing requirements, process documentation, or inspection procedures is relevant to the role. \n
Compensation
\n- \n
- Estimated hourly range: $35–$42/hr (W-2). \n
- Final rate within this range will be based on skills, experience, and interview results. \n
